The Medical Auditor is responsible for monitoring the delivery and documentation of patient care. As Auditor, this team member continuously reviews medical records, invoices, treatment plans, and other components of the patient account to ensure accuracy and completeness. The chief objective of this position is to ensure that patients receive the right care at the right time by verifying the data entry work of other departments, communicating with the staff within those departments, and performing or delegating any necessary corrections or adjustments. This includes analyzing telephone and video recordings in order to recommend coaching, training, or corrective action.
